See a slideshow of a tower being constructed

Well, we can’t say this is recent news for Rabbit but it’s fun to watch. Back in 2010, we took a series of photos over the course of a day to document the construction of a 120 ft. communications tower for the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.

The contractor had some issues with their boom crane extension. But they were determined to get it working and finish the job in one day. You’ll see the pre-assembled sections being bolted together and the final photo at sunset with Mt. Jefferson in the distance.

Hats off to the tower climbers of the world who do a very tough and demanding job.
